Some laptops are not working with Neets keypad controllers using USB

We have received some reports from Neets installers that they are experiencing an unstable connection to their Neets keypad controllers.

Error description:

1. It takes long time to detect the Neets controller when connected via USB (around 20-25 seconds)
2. Unstable communication ("Get information" and project upload fails or takes long time)

We have mostly seen it being an issue on EcHo, EcHo Plus, OsCar and BraVo. 

 

We have experienced issues with the below models from Lenovo, but there might be others.:

  1. Lenovo ThinkPad T15

  2. Lenovo ThinkPad E15

  3. Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G2 ITL

  4. Asus TUF Gaming FX504G

Please write to Neets technical support with your laptop make and model number if you experience the above mentioned issues as well. 

 

Workaround:

Use an external USB hub instead of the USB ports in the laptop.

 

Solution:

We have contacted Lenovo support regarding this issue, and await their feedback.
